PCN Launches Sidekick

In May, PCN’s Internal Communications Department launched PCN Sidekick: A Newsletter for Team PCN. PCN’s President and CEO, Katrin Hillner, views an internal newsletter as a crucial component of effective communication with employees as well as reinforcement of PCN’s new brand.
There was much discussion about the name of the new resource for employees. Sidekicks are ever-present, quietly supporting, communicating and cheering on their heros. PCN employees are seen as PCN Superheros, advocating for their clients, bravely trying new solutions, and demonstrating reliability in any situation.
PCN Sidekick was designed to communicate the latest news, updates and happenings at PCN. It is frequent, released monthly with content pertaining to that month. Due to the frequency, it is shorter and easier to read. The electronic format allows for easy linking to industry sites and further reading to help employees stay current with industry news and trends. The timely content is a mix from various departments, offering critical updates and humorous side notes.
